Internal Medicine
Dr. Amy Weinberg has practiced internal medicine for more than 30 years, with a particular focus on preventative health and the management of complex chronic medical conditions. Comprehensive wellness exams are tailored to individual patient needs with a priority on personalized medicine. Exams include an array of health screenings and laboratory analysis in addition to state-of-the-art imaging studies such as cardiovascular risk analysis, weight loss and nutrition guidance and DEXA body composition analysis. Dr. Weinberg's office is located in the city of Los Angeles, California and she serves on the staff of the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.
Pulmonary Disease
After graduating Brown University with a degree in biology, Dr. Weinberg attended the University of California at Los Angeles School of Medicine, where she developed a keen interest in the area of pulmonary medicine. After graduating medical school and completing a residency in internal medicine, Dr. Weinberg completed a specialized fellowship in pulmonary and critical care medicine at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center. Dr. Weinberg published studies on the relationship between swallowing disorders and respiratory status, and the effects of parental smoking on childhood asthma. Dr. Weinberg served as clinical chief of the Pulmonary Division at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and is an expert in COPD, asthma, pneumonia, bronchitis and other respiratory diseases.
